Well, the several week deactivation of the registration on the website still didn’t do anything for the spammers.  So I made a new addition to the forums, let me explain it to everyone (in hopes that you all still visit this site).

Ok, most of you will never see this new section (without logging out) but there is a new area in the forums, where those that signed up, but haven’t had their accounts activated can post.  What this is for, is when you register, your account will remain inactive, untill approved by one of the admin.  So everyone who signs up now will need to go to this area, and read the instructions.  Really its just a simple post that asks who you are, how you heard about the site, and how (if) we know you.

So, everyone will need to remember that when your telling your friends about our website, be sure they know that if they do not post in this section within 24 hours, they automatically get rejected from the forums.  On the second attemt, its a 5 day ban.  Third attempt, its perma ban (until they email me).

Well, its been a while, I know, but the new photo album for use on the site is almost complete, just a few more tweaks and I’ll have it up.  The only problem is, we have no pictures to put in it.  So, here is this weeks assignment kiddies, lets all get some pictures!

One other thing, there has been a lot of spam being directed to our website, and for the time being, I have disabled registration on both the forums, and the blog, to alleviate this, so if you get anyone asking why they can’t register, just have them email me and I will get them registered on the forums.

Well, I knew it was gonna happen, but that doesn’t make it any less sad when you find out a family member is on deaths bed. I came home from work today, and found my dad in the driveway with my dog. He said that he took her to the vet today, and they ran some tests because she had been breathing hard, and sick for about a month.

They found out that she has kidney and heart falure, and water in her lungs, and she may have had a stroke about a month ago. They said she wouldn’t make it through the end of the week, and they are going to put her to sleep tomorrow afternoon.

I cried for about 20 minutes, and am still not very much in a happy mood. I can imagine that tomorrow will be no different. I took Jake over there to say goodbye one last time, and took some pictures of he and Tigger. I know that pets are just that, but I think out of all of them I have had, I am taking this one the hardest. So, here will stand a memorial to Tigger, one of the best (not the brightest) dogs ever!

Guess what? Oh, I already gave it away, silly me.

You will see a Navigation bar, among the things there, I would like to point out various links, and a new ‘Pages’ feature, this will allow you to find various things around the website and forums, with ease and quickness. Also, please not that Jeremy has taken the liberty of showing us what is really going on over seas in the military. Tax dollars put to good use there buddy! lol

On Monday, April 7th, the forums will be Offline for the span of up to 24 hours while we upgrade our servers! I will make a post while this takes place, and give an estimated time. There may also be additional errors with the website in general, due to the upgrade on our servers. Thank you for your support and understanding.

I am currently working on a new, more organized photo album for the site, be patient, since I am fairly new to PHP scripting, and this will take some time.  For now, just keep using the one on the forums, they will get linked together.
