Well, here is a short little snippet about our group, We are a group of friends here in UT that kinda grew up together. Andrea and myself dated in high school, and Emily was a friend of both of us, we had know each other for a while. Travis and myself met in high school, and hung out allot. We also had some mutual friends, Shawn, who is Nate's younger brother, and Jill. I wont get into how Nate and Jill met, I'll let them explain it on their blog page. Needless to say, Travis is one year younger than Andrea, Emily, Jill and myself, and Nate is two years older than all of us. So, after high school, we didn't see each other that often, till we met back up in a *singles ward*, by this time, Jill and Nate were already married. I was going there with my wife (fiancee at the time) Andrea, and this is where Travis met his wife Emily, but again, I'll leave that story to them. So, back on the subject here, well we all started hanging out together, and realized we had something in common, we were all addicted to Halo© (yes the first one)! Well this is the time Andrea was in St. George, and we would all go visit on a regular basis, and the guys in the apartment next door to Andrea, were also Halo fans. So we each would take our own Xbox down there and have Halo LAN parties, and again about every weekend we would take turns hosting them at each others houses. And so it has evolved over the years, and now we each have Xbox 360s ( Nate and Jill each have one, and Travis and Em each have one). Now we play GoW or Splinter Cell D.A. almost every night after work, and on weekends.
*A singles ward is a church congregation where young (collage age) people meet together, so you don't get all the crying babies and older people there*
On the subject of meeting others, so because of this small group of friends, it has grown, now Travis' cousin BassMadrigal, Jill's brother Abraham1incoln, and the of course the MANY MANY others that are in our Xbox Live© Friends lists. And like most good players online, we are always looking for more friends, well except Nate, who has 50+ friends online at a time usually.
